Gnoll

ability score increase: Your Constitution score increases by 1. In addition, either your Strength or Dexterity score increases by 2.
age: Young gnolls grow with uncanny speed. A gnoll is capable of fending for itself after only a few months, and reach maturity around age 5. They live to be around 30, and rarely live longer than 60 years. They remain vigorous until the end; death by old age is marked by a catastrophic decline over a space of a few days. Many believe this unusual lifecycle is tied to the supernatural origins of the gnoll.
alignment: Gnolls are savage, frenzied creatures that have difficulties putting aside their destructive tendencies. Even if they may escape the evil nature of their god, they are still typically chaotic. Regardless, gnolls who stay true to their pack instincts are generally inclined to abide by the ideals of their chosen companions.
Size: Medium
speed: Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Languages: You can speak, read and write Common. You can also speak Gnoll, though it lacks a script or written form. You can also understand, but not speak, read or write Abyssal unless learnt through other features.

The language of gnolls, such as it is, consists of whines, cackles, and howls mixed with gestures and expressions much like the vocalizations of hyenas, with whooping and chattering “laughter.” Gnolls use it to communicate only basic concepts, such as an alert about approaching prey or a call to their allies to join the fray. When gnolls must share complex concepts with each other, they use a broken form of Abyssal. The gnoll language lacks a script or written form, though elite gnolls can use their limited knowledge of Abyssal to leave messages.

race features:

Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color, only shades of gray.

Bite. Your bone-crunching maw is a natural weapon, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with it, you deal piercing damage equal to 1d4 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.

Rampage. On your turn, when you reduce a creature to 0 hit points with a melee attack, you can use a bonus action to move up to half your speed and make a bite attack.

Cunning Artisan. As part of a short rest, you can harvest bone and hide from a slain beast, construct, dragon, monstrosity, or plant creature of size small or larger to create one of the following items: a shield, a club, a javelin, or 1d4 darts or blowgun needles. To use this trait, you need a blade, such as a dagger, or appropriate artisan's tools, such as leatherworker's tools.

Frightful Appearance. You are proficient in the Intimidation skill.

Carrion Eater. You can safely consume raw or rotten food, and have advantage on saving throws you make against disease and ingested poison.

Demonic in origin, gnolls are feral, hyena-headed humanoids that attack without warning, slaughtering their victims and devouring their flesh.
