Viskeon

The Viskeon are blue-skinned humanoid creatures that are cold-blooded, able to spit acid, and have an uncanny ability to regenerate their lost limbs and organs. The Viskeon homeworld was a hot and parched planet, dotted with jungles and plans, perfect for a cold-blooded species. Viskeons prize martial prowess, and view melee combat as one of the highest honors possible; they prize melee combat so much that ranged combat is viewed as dishonorable and cowardly in their society. When a tyranid incursion invaded their home world, nearly all of the viskeons died, except for those off-world as mercenaries or bounty hunters. To this day, viskeon mercenaries are a rare but prized sight to behold.

  • Acid Resistance. You have resistance to acid damage.
  • Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
  • Acid Spew. When you take the Attack action, you can replace one of your attacks with an exhalation of acid in a 30-foot line that is 5 feet wide. Each creature in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw against a DC equal to 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus. A creature takes 2d8 acid damage on a failed save, and half as much damage on a successful one. This damage increases by 1d8 when you reach 5th level (3d8), 11th level (4d8), and 17th level (5d8). Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you complete a short or long rest.
  • Martial Training. You are proficient with two martial weapons of your choice and with light armor.
  • Regeneration. When maimed or mutilated by a weapon that does not deal fire damage, you are able to replace the missing limb by restitching it on through botched surgery, or by regenerating it over a period of one week.
