Tarellian

The Tarellian are a species of doglike humanoids, known as “dog-soldiers,” that are near-extinct due to multiple threats against their species. They possess broad shoulders and a voracious maw in the shape of a canine’s. They once had a thriving civilization before Mankind virus-bombed many of their planets during the late 30th Millennium. In the 40th Millennium, the tyranids destroyed one of their last remaining planets. The remaining survivors are from sparse mercenary and nomadic populations that drift amongst the stars. The Tau have employed many of the remaining Tarellian into their ranks as mercenaries, or adopted them into their society.

Creatures of your choice within 10 feet of you that can hear you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or become frightened of you until the end of your next turn. The DC of the save equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

  • Survivor’s Instincts. You gain proficiency with two of the following skills of your choice: Lore, Nature, Perception, Stealth, and Survival.
  • Survivor’s Knowledge. Your people have survived countless onslaughts against numerous threats. You can add double your proficiency bonus when making Intelligence checks to recall information about the weapons, tactics, and armies regarding the Imperium and tyranids.
