Scout Marine

Space marines are superhuman warriors, created as a masterwork of biological and genetic experimentation. The space marines that have just begun their journey into becoming these superhuman titans must first begin their life as a scout marine, having already been implanted with new organs, giving their more durable and hardy frames. See Chapter 2.2: Space Marines for full space marine character creation.
ability score increase: Your Strength score increases by 2, and your Constitution score increases by 1.
age: Space marines, depending on the chapter, can complete their scout training from the ages of 18 to 50. Space marines can live up to potentially thousands of years old, but many reap the reward of their duty long before.
alignment: Most space marines are lawful, believing firmly in some sort of hierarchy, whether it be to Chaos or to the Emperor of Mankind.

speed: Your base walking speed is 30 feet
Languages: You can speak, read, and write High Gothic and Low Gothic
race features:
  • And They Shall Know No Fear. You have advantage on saving throws against being frightened.
  • Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Superhuman Biology. Your implants give you superhuman endurance, giving you the following benefits:
  • You can last twice as long while being exposed to the effects of sleep deprivation, dehydration, starvation, and extreme heat and cold from the environment before suffering penalties.
  • You have resistance to poison damage and advantage on saving throws against being poisoned and against nonenhanced diseases.
  • Athletic. You are proficient in the Athletics skill.
  • Powerful Build. You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.
  • Scout Training. You have proficiency in light armor, medium armor, shields, and two weapons of your choice. Your unarmed strikes deal 1d4 + your Strength modifier in kinetic damage.
