Necron

Deep within the Tomb Worlds of long-forgotten worlds, the Necrons wait. Made of super-advanced metals and stripped of most of their intelligence, reasoning, and thought, the Necron are robots hellbent on destroying the life forms present in the galaxy. Few Necrons have intelligence capable of complex thought, reasoning, and communication.

  • Creature Type. Your creature type is construct. You do not need to sleep, eat, or drink. You are immune to the effects of extreme heat, cold, radiation, and vacuum from the environment. You are immune to nonenhanced diseases, poison damage, the poisoned condition, exhaustion, and you can’t be put to sleep.
  • Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
  • Necron Armor. Your body is covered in necrodermis, and it gives you a base AC of 17 (your Dexterity modifier doesn't affect this number). Wearing armor does not put you below this number. If you are using a shield, you can apply the shield's bonus as normal.
  • Sleepless. When you take a long rest, you must spend at least four hours in an inactive, motionless state, rather than sleeping. In this state, you appear inert, but it doesn’t render you unconscious, and you can see and hear as normal.
  • Tomb World. Upon dying, you are reformed back at your original tomb world within an amount of days equal to your level.
  • Warp Intolerance. You are unable to manifest psychic powers. You cannot gain levels in a class that has the psycasting feature.
GM NOTE Necron are constructs, and can’t be healed by most forms of standard healing. Because of this, it is important that your player knows that they may be severely disadvantaged compared to their party members due to lack of healing available to them.
