Tau

The Tau are a young, humanoid and technologically-advanced intelligent species that are fighting to expand their ideal of the “Greater Good” to all of the intelligent species of the galaxy. The Tau claim to be a peaceful race when possible, but may conquer a planet when their peaceful overtures are declined. Tau society is led by a secretive caste known as the Ethereal, which are able to command the respect of the Tau with ease. This has led to opponents of the Tau wondering if perhaps the Ethereal caste has a secret lurking behind their leadership capabilities.   Tau society is divided into a number of castes, with each one genetically adapted to deal with a specific intention to most benefit their society.
