Ratling

Ratlings are a species of abhumans that range from three to four feet tall. Being abhumans, they are typically discriminated against, but they are regarded highly as snipers in the Imperial Guard. Ratlings are on the list of acceptable mutations listed by the Imperium. As a Ratling, you can easily hide from notice, even using other people as cover. In the Imperial Guard, Ratlings are used as snipers. Many Ratlings lead a life of petty crime, making use of their smaller stature to nimbly dash in and out of hazards and make a quick escape.

age: A Ratling reaches adulthood at the age of 20 and generally lives into the middle of his or her second century.

  • Lucky. When you roll a 1 on the d20 for an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, you can reroll the die and must use the new roll.
  • Ratling Nimbleness. You can move through the space of any creature that is of a Size larger than yours.
  • Ratling Training. You are proficient with the rapier, short sword, scimitar, and las pistol.
  • Naturally Stealthy. You can attempt to hide even when you are obscured only by a creature that is at least one Size larger than you.
