Many centuries ago after their creation the Deity of the Stars made a pact with the Asteres that the gods created, that they and their anscestors would have to devote their life to their god and never deviate going with their rules and in return they would be blessed with visions and powerful magic but if they deviated then they would be cursed for the rest of their life however the god see fit, the early Asteres accepted the offer of powerful magic was too good to refuse. Cursed Asteres whilst few do walk the world of Kyrin shonned by society for what they have done and with a terrible curse and their starry freckles now with cracks in them they cant fit into society instead becoming outcasts and some even making allies with other Cursed Asteres.
