Matthew Dakota | Member Since 23 Apr, 2021My name is Matthew Dakota, I'm a 27 year old queer trans man from Canada who writes 100% queer stories. I consider my self a professional procrastiwriter and spend most of my time agonizing over what I want to write instead of writing it. It's a lifelong condition and I can never be cured. I pride myself on having a full cast of queer main characters and very very few, if any, cis-het characters because... I wanna read LGBTQ+ stories and i'm not sorry or ashamed of that. I come from a small city in an easy to ignore province, grew up around a lot of homophobia and transphobia and since coming out and reclaiming my queerness, I just refuse to pander to what folks consider default. I will write 1000 gay boys being in love before I force myself to write one straight couple to appease bigots. I have an incredible fiance and a superb group of friends as well as a wonderful mother supporting me and my passions and I can't thank them all enough for helping me to be my authentic self. I also have 3 cats who help me by trying to trip and kill me at any opportunity they can!

Daughter of the Blood, Inkheart, Eragon, Gone, Truthwitch, Sailor Moon (that counts shh), Death Note: Another Note, Death Note: LABB, I mostly read fanfics/fics now.
Favorite Writers
tbh at this point I mostly like tweetfic writers I see, my friends' writings and very few published main authors.. like.. I like Stephen King and Anne Bishop?

Harvest Moon, Animal Crossing, Minecraft, most Mario games, COD Zombies, Zelda, Stardew Valley, Spyro, Final Fantasy, dumb mobile games i shouldn't be wasting time on
